De Paul leads Atlético's comeback in Cáceres
Since being booed at the Metropolitano, Rodrigo De Paul has shown his authority as a player. In the game against Las Palmas, he assisted Sorloth to seal the victory. However, his redemption was crowned in Cáceres, where he wore the captain’s armband for the red and white team.
With less than ten minutes to go, De Paul kept his cool to put a measured ball into Lenglet’s head and score the second goal that completed Atlético’s comeback. He also had one more pass up his sleeve for Julián Alvarez to score the third.
