Gianluca Simeone, the Cholo's special scouter
Gianluca Simeone, a player for Rayo Majadahonda, became the Cholo’s special scouter for the second round of the Copa del Rey against Cacereño. Diego Pablo Simeone prepared for the match meticulously with videos and the help of his son, who played at Cacereño’s home less than a month ago.
The Majadahonda team lost 1-0 to a goal by Joserra at the 13th minute, in a match where the second of the Simeones played the entire game. These early rounds of the Copa del Rey put important exams to the analysis departments of the First Division clubs, and in the case of Cacereño, Atlético de Madrid had the help of a very special scouter.
