Simeone and his legacy at Atlético de Madrid
Diego Pablo Simeone, coach of Atlético de Madrid, spoke about his future and his departure from the club. In an interview with Maxi Rodríguez, Simeone left some certainties and other doubts. The Argentine coach believes that he should live other experiences beyond the 13 years he has been a coach at the club.
Simeone is convinced that, after the enormous growth of Atlético, there is no turning back and everything that comes after him will be very powerful. The Argentine explained that Atlético is his home and is one of the most important parts of his life. Simeone acknowledged that this Atlético is very different from the one he found as a coach. And he attributed it to a great collective work, from the grass to the offices.
