Josema Giménez, the leader guiding Bielsa's Uruguay
Josema Giménez, with 92 games for Uruguay, is the captain and acts as such on and off the pitch. In times of internal turmoil, Josema chose to understand the conflict as an opportunity for change and open the door to modifying some aspects of the human relationship.
Despite poor results in the South American Qualifiers, Josema was key in defense and earned his place as a starter and captain. With his leadership, Uruguay rediscovered itself in November and looks ahead to the next match against Argentina on March 21.
