Simeone absent from Atlético de Madrid bench
In the Copa del Rey round of 16 match between Atlético de Madrid and Marbella at La Rosaleda, the absence of Diego Pablo Simeone on the rojiblanco bench caught the attention.
The Argentine coach had to serve a one-match suspension due to a red card in the previous match against Cacereño for kicking a water bottle towards the fourth official and assistant number one. Nelson Vivas had to replace Simeone on the bench and relay instructions to the team.
