Griezmann: A Rojiblanco Legend Until 2027
Great news for the Atlético family! Antoine Griezmann, our ‘Little Prince’, has extended his contract with Atlético de Madrid until June 30, 2027. A renewal that fills us with joy and confirms the French star’s commitment to our club.
Griezmann arrived in the 2014/15 season and has since become a living legend of Atleti. With 197 goals, Antoine is the top scorer in the club’s history, surpassing the legendary Luis Aragonés.
In addition, he is the eighth player with the most official matches (442) defending the red and white and the third foreigner to have done so the most times, only behind Oblak and Correa.
Author of the first goal at the Metropolitano, Griezmann has won important titles with Atleti, including a Spanish Super Cup (2014), a European Super Cup (2018) and a UEFA Europa League (2018), where he shone with a double in the final.
His leadership and talent were also key to France’s victory in the 2018 World Cup in Russia. In the last season, Griezmann once again demonstrated his quality, playing 53 games, scoring 25 goals and providing 9 assists. Congratulations, Antoine!
