Cerezo highlights Atlético's Champions League routine and praises Lola Gallardo
Enrique Cerezo, president of Atlético de Madrid, highlighted the importance of qualifying for the Champions League every year, despite it becoming routine.
In the club’s traditional Christmas lunch, Cerezo also praised the figure of Lola Gallardo, the goalkeeper of the women’s team who has become the player with the most matches in the club and received the tribute of the fans.
The rojiblanco president also spoke about the health of the youth academy and paid a heartfelt tribute to Manolete, an emblematic journalist of the club. Cerezo also highlighted the laying of the first stone of the City of Sport, which is advancing at a rapid pace thanks to public-private collaboration with the Madrid City Council.
