River Plate 'scared' by Ángel Correa's price
Atlético de Madrid could face a bid from River Plate for Ángel Correa. The Spanish club has been interested in the Argentine forward for some time, but the response to their inquiry about Correa’s price left the Argentine club ‘frozen’.
According to journalist Hernán Castillo, Atlético is asking for 20 million euros for Correa, which is out of River Plate’s reach. River Plate’s coach, Marcelo Gallardo, has tried to sign Correa on two previous occasions, but Atlético has not budged. River Plate has a budget of 17 million dollars for signings, but could increase it if they sell Miguel Borja. However, the operation for Correa would mean investing all available funds in a single signing.
