Atlético C's Future Aims for Promotion
CUC Villalba, which will integrate as Atlético de Madrid’s ‘C’ team next season, faces a crucial final to get into the promotion phase to Segunda RFEF. The team, led by Nano Rivas, will face CD Galapagar in a decisive match, although the game will be played in Alcalá de Henares.
Villalba reaches this final matchday in promotion positions after drawing against Trival Valderas. They depend on themselves to achieve the objective: a victory assures them qualification. A draw would force them to depend on the results of Villaverde and Leganés B, while a defeat would leave them out.
The team has been made up of youth players and promising signings, highlighting their top scorer, Abraham Nóbrega. Despite the difficulties they have had during the season, Villalba has proven to be a competitive team.
