Slovan Bratislava arrives at Metropolitano with threatened leadership
Slovan Bratislava lost their second match in the Slovakian league to Zilina (2-1), who are now in second place, just one point behind the leaders. The match between the top two teams was decided in the 95th minute, when it seemed that it would end in a draw.
Zilina took the lead in the 48th minute with a goal from Ivorian Eric Bile, but Slovan equalized seven minutes later with a goal from Panamanian Cesar Blackman. However, in stoppage time, Kristian Bari scored the winning goal and threatened Slovan’s leadership, who will face Atletico Madrid at Metropolitano on Wednesday.
