Griezmann, the Red and White Mozart: leader in assists and all-time top scorer for Atlético de Madrid
Frenchman Antoine Griezmann has reached 13 assists in the Champions League, equaling Czech Tomas Rosicky, who also provided 13 assists in 70 games. Griezmann, with 77 games, surpasses Koke’s 12 assists and becomes Atlético’s all-time top assist provider in the European competition.
In addition, Griezmann is the all-time top scorer for the club with 186 goals, surpassing Luis Aragonés. Although not a natural striker, his goal-scoring ability and the support of coach Diego Simeone have turned him into a complete player.
