Red and White Triumph: Atlético Shines at MICFootball
Congratulations, Atlético fans! Atlético de Madrid had a spectacular performance at MICFootball, once again demonstrating the quality of their youth academy. The tournament, which brought together 444 teams from all over the world in Girona, witnessed the Red and White dominance in several categories.
Atlético was crowned champion in the U-14, U-15 and U-16 categories, an impressive achievement that reflects the excellent training work carried out at the club.
In the U-14 category, the team defeated FC Andorra with goals from Kalilou Sangaré and Adrián Díaz-Jiménez, demonstrating solid defense by conceding only one goal throughout the tournament.
The U-15s also took the title after beating Real Sociedad with a goal from Alexandru Grigorii, keeping a clean sheet throughout the competition. The U-16s were not far behind and added another trophy to the Red and White showcases, winning the final on penalties after an exciting match against FC Barcelona.
