Atletico Madrid prepares to face Barcelona
Atletico Madrid began preparing for their match against Barcelona with one absence in training, Alexander Sorloth. The goal scorer against Getafe received a blow in the last game and the medical services decided to have him work separately as a precaution.
The starters against Getafe completed the first part of the session and did regenerative work to manage their workload. The only exception was Lino, who stayed with the substitutes because he came on at halftime.
Simeone postponed the first tests of the starting lineup for this Saturday’s match in Montjuic against Barcelona until Wednesday. The training will take place at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano stadium so that the players can attend the traditional Christmas dinner of the club.
