Arthur Vermeeren leaves Atlético with €20 million
Belgian midfielder Arthur Vermeeren has reached the 20 games stipulated in his contract with Bayern Munich, which obliges the German club to invest more than €20 million to keep the player permanently.
Vermeeren, 19, joined Atlético de Madrid in the winter market of 2024, but failed to earn a place in the team due to competition in midfield. At Bayern, however, he has managed to stand out and has been a starter in 12 games. The €20 million, plus the loan fee, could provide Atlético with resources to strengthen in winter.
