El Jebari: Next Stop in Second Division
Atlético de Madrid continues to invest in the growth of its young talents. Following the renewal of Fernando Torres as coach of the reserve team, planning for the upcoming season is already underway.
One of the key decisions is the loan of Salim El Jebari, the Spanish-Moroccan winger who already played for FC Cartagena during the last winter market. El Jebari, despite his effort and contribution with two goals and two assists in 16 matches, could not prevent Cartagena’s relegation.
However, his performance has sparked interest from several clubs in the Second Division, where Atlético seeks to continue his development in professional football. Currently, four Spanish teams have positioned themselves to secure the loan of the young player: Deportivo, Córdoba, Albacete, and Huesca.
All of them see El Jebari as an interesting reinforcement for their squads. Although several foreign clubs have inquired about his possible transfer, Atlético prefers to keep him on loan to closely monitor his evolution and does not rule out a future sale for half of his rights, as it has already done with other youth players.
The future of El Jebari will be defined from June 30. Rojiblancos fans will be attentive to the next step in the career of this promising figure emerging from the Atlético de Madrid Academy.
