Atleti Responds to 'Links' with Munuera Montero's Company
Atlético de Madrid has expressed surprise at recent reports linking the club to Talentus Sports, the company founded by referee Munuera Montero. The Rojiblanco club strongly denies any commercial relationship or agreement with the company.
They state that they have never had any dealings with Talentus Sports and deny any connection beyond the dissemination of club job offers on the LinkedIn platform, a common practice in which other international sports clubs and organizations such as the NBA or NFL also participate.
The club’s surprise stems from the fact that neither on the Talentus Sports website nor on its LinkedIn profile is there any direct reference to Atlético de Madrid, apart from the aforementioned job offers.
In response to the accusations, Munuera Montero issued a statement clarifying that his company is not dedicated to human resources management and that its activity focuses on connecting athletes with organizations to transmit sports values through their experiences.
The Colchonero club emphasizes that this link is unfounded, as there have been no considerations or commercial contact between Atlético de Madrid and Talentus Sports. The Atleti board does not understand the origin of this information and reiterates its commitment to transparency and fair play, completely disassociating itself from any insinuation that may question the integrity of the club.
