Atletico Madrid competes in the twenty-eighth edition of LaLiga FC Futures
Children’s tournaments during Christmas have become a tradition in Spanish football and this year is no exception. Between Friday 27th and Sunday 29th, the town of Maspalomas on the island of Gran Canaria will host the twenty-eighth edition of LaLiga FC Futures.
Among the 16 participating teams will be the biggest in Spain, including Atletico Madrid. The format is simple: a group stage of four groups of four teams in which two pass and, from there, elimination rounds. It can be watched live on GOL Play, DAZN and Movistar+; as well as the LaLiga website.
The group stage will be played between Friday and Saturday, and the quarterfinals will be played on Friday afternoon. Sunday will be the turn for the semifinals in the morning and the consolation final and the grand final. The matches until the semifinals will be of two parts of 12 minutes; the semifinals, of two parts of 15 minutes; and the final, of two parts of 20 minutes.
