Saúl receives a warm welcome in his return to the Metropolitano
The match between Atlético de Madrid and Sevilla at the Metropolitano was the setting for Saúl Ñíguez’s return, who still belongs to the red and white club. Although his new team has given him little prominence due to an injury, the Ilicitano received a warm welcome from the Atlético fans.
Before the start of the game, his return was announced over the loudspeaker and the midfielder had to come out of the bench to respond to the ovation that the stadium was giving him. Saúl entered the field of play in the middle of the second half, with the score in favor of Sevilla (1-3), and although he received a yellow card for a foul, his return was an emotional moment for all present.
