Great news for the Colchonero fans! Atlético de Madrid will play in the semifinals of the Copa de la Reina 2024/25 after the draw held at the RFEF. Their opponent will be Granada in a tie that promises to be exciting, where the Red and White team will seek a place in the grand final.
The draw has resulted in a clash that, while requiring maximum effort, has been received with optimism in the locker room. Fiamma Benítez, Atleti’s top scorer, expressed the team’s satisfaction, highlighting the importance of playing the second leg at home, supported by the unconditional Red and White fans.
“Very happy with the draw, especially because we have the return leg at home with our fans,” said Fiamma, while acknowledging Granada’s good performance this season. The tie will be played over two legs, scheduled for March 4/5/6 and 11/12/13, and Atlético will look to take full advantage of the Metropolitano factor to seal their place in the final and, in the process, secure their participation in the Spanish Super Cup.
