Atlético Legends: A Tribute to Red and White Loyalty
The Metropolitano dressed up to pay tribute to the members who celebrate 25 years of uninterrupted passion for Atlético de Madrid. In an emotional ceremony, the first of two days, the club recognized the loyalty of those Atléticos who joined the Red and White family in the 1999/2000 season.
The event, which was attended by President Enrique Cerezo, was a heartfelt tribute to unwavering fidelity and commitment to the colors. Young and old came together in a celebration that reaffirms the Atlético feeling, one that transcends generations and is lived with intensity.
Rodrigo Riquelme, representing the current squad, and legends such as Manolo Sánchez Delgado, Santi Denia, Álvaro Domínguez, David Villa and Roberto Solozábal, also wanted to join in recognizing these exemplary members.
After the presentation of badges, the honorees enjoyed a cocktail and a tour of the stadium, reliving historical moments and sharing unforgettable anecdotes. Atlético de Madrid deeply appreciates the dedication and affection of its members, fundamental pillars of the greatness of this centenary club. This beautiful tradition will continue on Friday, decorating more Atléticos who have made Atleti a way of life.
