The referee for Atlético de Madrid in the Copa del Rey
Atlético de Madrid will return to competition on Saturday, January 4, after the Christmas holidays, facing Marbella FC in the 1/16 of the Copa del Rey at La Rosaleda in Málaga.
The referee for the match will be Alejandro Muñiz Ruiz, from the Galician club, who has refereed three matches for Atlético de Madrid with a record of two wins and one draw. The Galician referee has also refereed one match for Marbella FC in the 15/16 season. It is important to note that in this stage of the Copa del Rey there is still no video refereeing, which was already noticed in the previous eliminations.
