Sorloth, Rayo's Nemesis
The Norwegian ‘Hitman’ Alexander Sorloth continues to demonstrate his goalscoring prowess with Atlético de Madrid! In the recent 3-0 victory at the Metropolitano against Rayo Vallecano, Sorloth opened the scoring with an impressive header, confirming his special connection with the opponent’s goal.
This goal not only contributed to Atleti’s resounding victory, but also cemented Rayo Vallecano as his favorite victim in LaLiga. Since arriving in Spain in the 21/22 season, Sorloth has pierced Rayo’s net seven times: three with Villarreal, three with Real Sociedad, and now one with Atleti.
Impressive numbers that position him as a real nightmare for the ‘franjirrojo’ team! In fact, only Vinícius, with nine goals against Valencia, surpasses Sorloth in goals scored against the same opponent in that period.
