Atlético de Madrid restructures its sports area and highlights the growth of Atlético de San Luis
The CEO of Atlético de Madrid, Miguel Ángel Gil Marín, has spoken about the internal restructuring of the club’s sports area, led by Carlos Bucero, and which has incorporated Severiano García as technical secretary.
This restructuring aims to improve efficiency in the recruitment of players in all categories of the club and strengthen its global presence. Gil Marín has also highlighted the growth of Atlético de San Luis, a brother club in Mexico, and has pointed out the need for a restructuring of Mexican football to attract foreign investment. The Spanish executive has assured that Mexican football has the potential to compete with the major European leagues, but requires a legal society that represents the 18 clubs of Liga MX and offers legal certainty to investors.
