Cerezo Rages Against VAR: 'Terrifying Tool'
Atlético de Madrid still feels the blow of elimination in the Champions League, and President Enrique Cerezo has not hesitated to raise his voice against VAR. In a recent interview, Cerezo described VAR as a “terrifying tool, which is good for nothing more than harming teams”.

He believes that, instead of making football fairer, VAR has created more problems and criticism of referees. “We all believe that VAR was brought in to make football fairer, and I believe it has been brought in to make it more unfair”, he stated.
