The Metropolitano, ready to roar in the Champions League
Atlético de Madrid faces Real Madrid at the Metropolitano in the second leg of the Champions League Round of 16. Aiming to turn the tie around, the Colchonero team is counting on the unconditional support of its fans.
A complete sell-out is expected at the Metropolitano, with the presence of supporters from both teams. From the night before the match, the Rojiblanco fans showed their support for the players, who appreciated the gesture.
For today, the fans have been called to Avenida de Arcentales for a massive reception for Diego Simeone’s team, a tradition on big European nights. The club has asked fans to enter the stadium in advance to cheer the team on from the warm-up, creating a pressure environment for the opponent.
