FIFA Club World Cup trophy makes a stop at the Metropolitano
The FIFA Club World Cup trophy is already at the Metropolitano. This Wednesday, January 22 and Thursday, January 23, Atlético de Madrid receives the visit of the FIFA Club World Cup trophy, a tournament that will be played this coming summer in the United States and in which the mattress team will face PSG, Botafogo and Seattle Sounders in the first phase.
After its passage through the feudo of Avenida de Luis Aragonés, the trophy will head to the Alcalá de Henares Sports Center, where it will be received by 300 boys and girls of different ages belonging to the Red and White Academy.
Subsequently, the trophy will tour some of the key locations in the history of the city and of Atlético itself, such as the Retiro, the Puerta de Alcalá or the Vicente Calderón Park. Likewise, this Thursday, all fans will be able to contemplate the trophy and take a picture with it in the official Atlético de Madrid store located on Gran Vía 47 street, where it will be exhibited from 5:30 p.m.
