The Anti-Violence Commission has acted firmly following the incidents that occurred in the Madrid derby at the Metropolitano, a match corresponding to the return leg of the Champions League round of 16.

Significant financial sanctions and bans from entering sports venues have been proposed for several individuals involved in altercations. According to the Commission, five people violently confronted security guards in sector 128 of the south end, disrupting order among the fans.

A fan from sector 221 has also been proposed for sanction for assaulting another supporter. In addition, three individuals tried to obstruct police work in the same sector 128, violently confronting officers seeking to restore order.

The sanctions also extend to two people who assaulted the police guarding the Atlético de Madrid team bus along Avenida de Arcentales, before the start of the match.

Finally, two other individuals have been proposed for sanction for confronting officers deployed in the security zone after the match, during the evacuation of the visiting fans.

In total, fines of 5,000 euros and a 12-month ban from entering sports venues have been proposed for all those involved in these regrettable incidents.
