On the Road to the Final! Atlético - Barça, Decisive Clash in the Cup
This April 2nd, at 9:30 PM, Atlético de Madrid faces FC Barcelona at the Metropolitano in the second leg of the Copa del Rey semi-finals. After the thrilling 4-4 draw in the first leg, the team will seek, with the unconditional support of the fans, a place in the grand final.
History smiles upon us, as in two previous semi-finals (1991 and 2000) Atlético eliminated Barcelona. In the first leg, played at the Estadio Olímpico Lluís Companys, a late goal from Sørloth sealed the draw, with Julián Alvarez opening the scoring.
Alvarez leads the scoring charts of this edition of the Cup with five goals. To reach this stage, Atlético overcame UE Vic, Cacereño, Marbella FC, Elche CF and Getafe.
