Atlético de Madrid has unveiled its second kit for the 25/26 season, an innovative navy blue jersey adorned with vibrant yellow lightning bolts. Inspired by the anthem ‘Thunderstruck’ by AC/DC, which resonates in the Metropolitano, this kit symbolizes the inexhaustible energy and intensity that characterize the Colchoneros club.
The lightning bolts, present on both the jersey and the socks, evoke the electrifying atmosphere experienced before each match, encapsulating the team’s philosophy, a fighting spirit that is reflected in the phrase printed on the inside of the collar: ‘WARNING: ATLETI – NOT TURNING BACK’.
The reactions of the first team players were immediate. Figures such as Sorloth, Barrios, Marcos Llorente, Silvia Lloris and Tatiana Pinto, expressed their enthusiasm for the new outfit in a video published on the club’s social networks.
