Griezmann shines in Champions League team of the week
Atlético de Madrid thrashed Salzburg in the Champions League. French forward Antoine Griezmann, of Atlético de Madrid, has been included in the UEFA website’s team of the week for the eighth and final matchday of the Champions League group stage.
Griezmann scored a brace in Atlético de Madrid’s 4-1 victory over Salzburg. The team also includes Courtois, Arjan Malic (Sturm Graz), Araújo, Otamendi, Mitchel Bakker (Lille), Mateo Kovacic (Manchester City), Aleksandar Pavlovic (Bayern Múnich), Ousmane Dembele (PSG), Morgan Rogers (Aston Villa), Griezman and Lautaro Martínez. Rogers was named player of the week after scoring a hat-trick in Aston Villa’s win over Celtic, ahead of Lautaro Martínez, Dembele and Griezmann.
