We spoke with ‘Vicente Calderón’, a band with roots in Carabanchel and a sound that mixes indie, rock, and touches of the Movida, reflecting the diversity of Madrid. The group, formed by Ángela, Iker, Rafi, Elena, and Julián, tells us about their first album, which has been very well received.
Their lyrics, full of satire and social criticism, do not forget their connection to football. Although some of its members have hearts divided between Atleti, Madrid, and Barça, the name of the band unites them to the red and white history.
