The Club World Cup trophy stops at the Metropolitano
Atlético de Madrid received the visit of the FIFA Club World Cup trophy on Wednesday 22 and Thursday 23 January. The red and white team will play the competition this summer in the United States and will face PSG, Botafogo and Seattle Sounders in the first phase.
The trophy made a stop at the Metropolitano and then visited the Alcalá de Henares Sports Centre, where it was received by 300 boys and girls from the Red and White Academy. The trophy also toured some of the key locations in the history of the city and of Atlético. All fans will be able to see the trophy and take pictures with it at the official Atlético store on Gran Vía 47 on Thursday 23 January from 17:30.
