Le Normand to Miss Madrid Derby: Disciplinary Committee Confirms Suspension
The Disciplinary Committee of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has confirmed the suspensions for matchday 23 of LALiga EA Sports. Among those sanctioned is Atlético de Madrid’s Robin Le Normand, who will miss the match against Real Madrid due to the accumulation of yellow cards.
Le Normand received his fifth yellow card in the match against Mallorca. In addition to Le Normand, other players such as Randy Nteka (Rayo Vallecano), José Ángel Carmona (Sevilla FC), Carlos Romero (Espanyol), Ilaix Moriba (Celta de Vigo), and Theodor Starfelt (Celta de Vigo) were also suspended for one match.
On the bench, Vicente Moreno (Osasuna) and Borja Jiménez (CD Leganés) received sanctions for accumulated warnings and inappropriate remarks, respectively. This decision leaves Atlético de Madrid without one of its key players for the highly anticipated Madrid derby.
