Sorloth returns to Atlético's squad to face Villarreal
Norwegian striker Alexander Sorloth, of Atlético de Madrid, has returned to the rojiblanco squad after recovering from an injury sustained ten days ago in the Copa del Rey match against Elche.
Sorloth rejoined the group training on Friday and was included in Diego Simeone’s 23-man squad for Saturday’s match against Villarreal. Javi Galán and Clement Lenglet will be unavailable due to suspension for accumulating five yellow cards. The squad includes goalkeepers Jan Oblak, Juan Musso and Antonio Gomis; defenders Nahuel Molina, César Azpilicueta, Robin Le Normand, Axel Witsel, José María Giménez, Ilias Kostis and Reinildo Mandava; midfielders Marcos Llorente, Pablo Barrios, Rodrigo de Paul, Koke Resurrección, Thomas Lemar and Conor Gallagher; wingers Giuliano Simeone, Samuel Lino and Rodrigo Riquelme; and strikers Antoine Griezmann, Julián Álvarez, Ángel Correa and Alexander Sorloth.
