The Metropolitano, True to the Red and White Colors
The Metropolitano vibrated, although not with its best attendance of the season, in the Liga EA Sports match between our Atlético de Madrid and Rayo Vallecano. A total of 49,410 brave fans gathered to cheer on the team, demonstrating once again the unwavering passion of the Colchonero fans.
While attendance did not reach the figures of other matches, such as the exciting derby against Real Madrid where a near-sellout was achieved with 70,112 spectators, the atmosphere in the stadium was unbeatable.
Factors such as the late schedule on a working day may have influenced it, but the red and white spirit always prevails. Even, to reward the fans who attended the match, a mini concert by Beret was offered during the break, creating a festive and close atmosphere between the team and its people.
It should be remembered that the lowest attendance to date had been in the Copa del Rey match against Getafe, although the importance of the match at that time justified a higher attendance. In short, the match against Rayo Vallecano was another example of the commitment of the Atlético fans, who are always there to support the team in good times and in not so good times. Forza Atleti!
