Great news for the Atlético family! Fernando Torres, a Rojiblanco idol, has renewed his contract with Atlético de Madrid until June 30, 2027. The Madrid coach will continue to lead Atlético de Madrid B, consolidating his commitment to the future of the club.
This renewal ensures the continuity of a project that has yielded great results in the youth categories. Torres joined the Juvenil A in the 2021/22 season, and since then he has proven his worth as a coach.
In these three seasons, the Juvenil A won two Leagues, a Champions Cup and achieved a historic qualification for the Final Four of the Youth League in the 2021/22 season. An impressive record that speaks of Torres’ talent and dedication.
In the summer of 2024, he took on the challenge of leading Atlético de Madrid B. In his first season, the reserve team finished in a commendable seventh position, adding 54 points and improving the records of the previous season in 1ªRFEF.
