Atleti: Back on Track After the Blackout!

Atlético de Madrid is now focused on the upcoming match against Deportivo Alavés. After a rocky start to the week due to the widespread blackout that affected Spain and other countries, the team returned to training with the full squad.

The first session was diminished by the absence of several players, who were unable to return to Madrid on time after enjoying the weekend off granted by Simeone. Delays and cancellations in flights and transportation were the main culprits.

Fortunately, in the second session, Cholo was able to count on all his players. Players like Julián Álvarez, De Paul, Llorente, Molina, Reinildo, Riquelme, and Gallagher rejoined the group.

To compensate for Monday’s absence, the stragglers had to undergo a physical test before joining the rest of the team in tactical work. The team is preparing intensely for the clash, seeking to fine-tune the strategy and arrive in optimal condition for the match. Atleti is back with strength after the unforeseen event, ready to give their all at the Metropolitano!
