Raúl García enjoys life after football
Raúl García, former player of Atlético de Madrid, Athletic Club and Osasuna, confessed that he has not had time to miss football after hanging up his boots last season.
The Navarrese, who wore the Spanish national team shirt on two occasions, won a League, two Copa del Rey and two Spanish Super Cup, among other trophies, said goodbye to football at the end of last season after more than 20 years as a professional.
‘Football is everything. You start with that illusion of being able to play a game and when you achieve it you realize that there is still a long way to go. It is passion and you have to love it a lot to dedicate yourself to it, I am very proud of everything I have done’, he expressed.
