Simeone and the penalty controversy: 'It could have been'
Atlético de Madrid overturned Alavés’ initial goal to win three points. The comeback started with a goal from Griezmann after a controversial penalty. Coach Diego Simeone pointed out that the hand of Abdel Abqar ‘could have occurred in a ball that was going to goal’.
