Atlético Madrid continues winning streak in Champions League
Atlético Madrid defeated Slovan Bratislava in the Champions League, increasing their chances of advancing in the competition. Simeone’s team has achieved a streak of 10 consecutive victories after the defeat against Betis in October.
The attacking duo of Julián Álvarez and Antoine Griezmann has been key in this streak, with 12 and 11 goals respectively. This was the first time Atlético faced a Slovakian team in the top continental club competition. Almost 60,000 spectators attended the Metropolitano to support the team.
