Atlético B Dreams of Promotion
Our Atleti B is still fighting with determination for promotion! The Rojiblancos’ reserve team is in the final stretch of the regular season in Group 2 of Primera RFEF, battling for a place in the promotion ‘play-offs’ to Segunda División.
After a tough match against Sevilla Atlético, where a goal in added time deprived them of depending on themselves, Fernando Torres’ team is not giving up and is ready to give it their all. With four teams fighting for two places, the competition is fierce.
Antequera leads this group with 55 points, closely followed by AD Mérida with 54. Sevilla Atlético and Atlético B share 52 points, with the latter just two points from the ‘play-off’ spots. The road is not easy, but hope remains intact.
To achieve qualification, Atlético B needs victory in their two remaining matches: a crucial home match against Ibiza and an exciting away match against Mérida on the final day. In addition, they will have to keep an eye on the results of their direct rivals, Antequera and Sevilla Atlético.
