Atlético de Madrid face Alavés with Llorente back and possible rotations
Atlético de Madrid will face Deportivo Alavés on Saturday, November 23 at the Metropolitano. Marcos Llorente, recovered from a muscle injury, could start on the right flank. Some international players, such as José María Giménez and Julián Álvarez, could rest at the start.
Pablo Barrios and Jan Oblak could be the only internationals in the starting lineup, along with Antoine Griezmann and Ángel Correa. In midfield, Barrios, Koke Resurrección and Samuel Lino could play, with Rodrigo de Paul or Conor Gallagher as alternatives.
In defense, Javi Galán would be the left-back, with Clement Lenglet, Axel Witsel and César Azpilicueta as center-backs. Alavés will not be able to count on Carlos Protesoni or Hugo Novoa, and could form with five defenders, including Abdel Abqar, Aleksandar Sedlar and Moussa Diarra.
